As the Heartland celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Chisholm Trail (1867-2017), the Doubletree Wichita reveals Chisholm’s American Beef and Ale House. Chisholm’s is Wichita’s newest dining experience and is a truly authentic American restaurant that pays homage to Kansas’s reputation for great beef, innovation, and the pioneering spirit. Our menu and signature service tell the story of the region’s rich history from the early days as a trading post and cattle town to its position today as the aviation capital of the world.
Chisholm’s celebrates the story of local legend Jesse Chisholm and replaces the Wichita institution Legends Restaurant. Legends was well known by Wichita locals and travelers alike and we are blazing a new trail after a Wichita Legend at Chisholm’s American Beef and Ale House!
Our exploratory and experiential menu is also approachable and comfortable. We offer a large variety of craft beer and local ale, inventive signature cocktails, and an ample selection of fine wines all selected to pair perfectly with our menu.
