Tevin Parks, Chisholm’s Restaurant Chef
Tevin is a talented Restaurant Chef born and raised in Wichita. He attended the University of Kansas majoring in Biology. He started cooking at a very young age learning from his grandmother, Carlene, and other family members. Tevin quotes, “The best meals I ever had were Sunday dinners at Grammy and Grampa’s house;” this was the foundation for his passion for food. Tevin has over 10 years of kitchen experience. He started his career working in local dining venues such as Doo Dah diner and Public. Tevin joined Chisholm’s in February 2018. He loves to create new and exciting dishes using hyper-local ingredients. Outside of work he is an avid sportsman who loves golf, baseball, basketball, and football and spending time with his family and dogs.
Alyssa Ross, Pastry Chef
Alyssa is a native of Wichita, KS. She grew up with a love for baking and pastry work. She graduated in 2002 attending Wichita Area Technical College, majoring in Culinary Arts. She honed her love for baking at the prestigious and well-known Candle Club for 9 years before joining the Doubletree in 2008 as the Assistant Pastry Chef, becoming the Pastry Chef in 2011. Alyssa has a passion for creating desserts and cakes. Outside of work she loves spending time with her 18-year-old-son and their two German Shepherds. She enjoys participating in local charity events such as The Cajun Fest and Cruise and competing in competitions and events such as “Death by Chocolate” and the Gingerbread Village.
Adam Goodwin, Banquets Sous Chef
Adam is a native of Wichita. He has over 25 years of cooking and management experience at local restaurants; the Chelsea in Olive Tree, Bella Luna to name a few. Adam enjoys pushing the boundaries in his cooking techniques. He is an avid baker and loves making different hearth-style breads. In his spare time, Adam loves making music and dabbles in film making, photography and art. Adam is married and has four sons.
